Our Process
We build our homes using insulated concrete form (ICF) technology, a system that outperforms traditional wood construction in strength, energy-efficiency, and resilience. Through our connection with Onsite ICF, we integrate the building material and the construction process, allowing us to deliver a more consistent, reliable result from the ground up.
Our Mission
Tiona Homes is a social enterprise focused on expanding access to durable, energy-efficient homes at affordable prices in the Greater Houston area. As a division of Onsite ICF, we find purpose in helping create safe, sustainable places to live in our community.
Leadership
Steve Ross, Founder & CEO
Steve is an accomplished executive who continues to lead with determination and compassion. He combines leadership presence, problem-solving skills, and strong social values to produce results that solve problems, help people and create business success. Steve served 30+ years in various positions within Universal Electric Corporation (dba Starline), ultimately as Chief Operating Officer and also serving as a Director on its Board. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and Directorship Certified. Ross has a history of volunteer service and is active in the global off-grid energy access sector.
Jacob Ross, Product Manager
Jacob is a driven professional who brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach to product development and operations. He combines analytical thinking, global perspective, and entrepreneurial experience to support growth, improve execution, and expand the application of Onsite ICF technology. Jacob has experience in procurement and global sourcing, along with a background in entrepreneurship. He leads efforts focused on operational excellence, supporting deployment across markets, and advancing the use of ICF technology in the United States. He holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Graceland University and is based in Houston, Texas.
Victor Ramos
Victor is an established construction pro who delivers the high-quality homes that our customers deserve. He brings an innovative approach, strong entrepreneurial spirit, and a willingness to serve that bring to life the visions our customers hold dear. Victor has experience building everything from high-end custom homes to tract homes, giving him the experience and knowledge to meet the varied demands of each customer. He leads our construction efforts across Greater Houston, delivering the energy-efficient homes at the prices our customers expect. He holds a BA in Construction Management from Fresno State University and is based in Houston, Texas.
